| Wells ISD is
located in
the southernmost tip of Cherokee County in East Texas. Wells is
approximately
65 miles south of Tyler on U.S. 69. The district serves
approximately
300 students in grades PreK through 12.

Improvement Plan All Wells ISD students will learn the prescribed curriculum to a mastery level as they are taught each day. A series of successful days lead to success for each student and employee. When a child fails, we all fail. Therefore, we will prevent failure when we can, and correct when necessary because educated children are the best hope for our future.
