Lee Ringer, KTRE Channel 9 meteorologist, visited the fourth grade class to speak about weather and weather safety

 Mr. Ringer discusses the various types of weather with the class. He covered violent storms, tornadoes, hurricanes, and gave some safety tips on how students could help ensure their own safety when bad weather situations occur.

After explaining tornado safety, Mr. Ringer answers questions about the safest place to go when a tornado approaches.

Alex and Kianna listen as Mr. Ringer explains the difference between a tornado watch and a tornado warning. He also presented each student a Severe Weather Safety Guide.
