Wells Jr. High Teams Win Tournament

The Wells Junior High boys and girls basketball teams continue their winning streak by winning first place in their own Wells Tournament, held October 3rd - 5th.  Top scorer for the boys was Jerry Wise, who scored 28 points in the Thursday game against Hudson.  The boys won their Friday game against Zavalla by 1 point, with a final score of 21 to 20.  On Saturday, the Wells' girls game went into overtime, with Sherell Moye breaking the tie by scoring two free throws, winning the game against Centerville 26 to 24.
