Red Ribbon Week Activities

Below are our winners in the Red Ribbon Week door decorating contest.  Everyone did a great job and had a lot of fun decorating their classroom doors.  Many thanks to Mrs. Dixon for organizing activities and making Red Ribbon Week a success.


   K-1

In the Rock Building, first place went to Mrs. McKnight's first grade class. Their theme was "Listen too your Mummy...Don't Drugs."

 

Second place went to Mrs. Hicks' first graders.  Their door theme was "We're Drug Free - No Bones About It!"

 

Third place was claimed by Mrs. Whitney's Kindergarten class.  Their theme was "Don't Let Drugs Make You Batty."


Elementary

Mrs. Scott's class claimed first place in the Elementary building.  Their decorating spilled over onto the surrounding walls!  The theme for their door: "Don't Get Caught in the Web of Drugs."
 

Mrs. Clifton's class took second place.  Their door featured a scarecrow and leaves with their photos for the theme "We Don't Fall for Drugs."
 

Mrs. Cartwright's students created snowflakes for her door.  Their theme  "Nothing Flaky About Us.  We're Proud to Be Drug Free" won third place in the contest.



Junior High
 

Mrs. Pitts' class took first place honors with their door's theme, "Score To Be Drug Free."
 

Mr. Boring's class won second place in the Jr. High door decorating.  Their theme was "Use Your Brain.  Don't Use Drugs."  Mr. Boring also won third place in the High School contest.
 

Mrs. Bonorden's door won third place with the theme "Hand in Hand. Drug Free We Stand."


High School

Mr. Alberts' seniors took first place with their door decorating efforts.  Their theme was "Don't Let Drugs Keep You In the Dark."
 

Mr. Bynum's class took second place with their door's theme:  "Uncle Bin Laden Wants You to Buy His Drugs."
