Wells teacher tells
students to "Go fly a kite"
| |
Wells' art teacher, Harlan Neal, had his students design and construct
kites for a recent class project. Part of their grade depended on
whether their "kite" could fly.
| Students came up with a variety of materials, including bamboo, plastic
bags, paper, and other items to use in the construction. |

Some kites would need a lot of luck....and a high wind
or maybe a miracle......

Others actually got off the ground, proving once again that
duct tape really does have a thousand uses.

Wait, don't you have to let go for it to fly, Mr. Neal?
| |
Does six inches off the ground count as flying?
| |
Hey, nobody said it had to be pretty, it just had to fly.
| This is a picture of all the other kites that flew that day.
Hmmm...what can we say - they're artists, not engineers. |
