End of School Happenings
 
 May was a busy month, with many fun end-of-school activities including field trips and field day.
  
Above, high school Spanish teacher, Guadalupe Lila explains a pinata to second graders learning about customs and celebrations of other countries and cultures.
  
 Third graders created Mother's Day gifts by outlining their hands on construction paper.  They cut these shapes out and glued them in a circle to form a wreath.  Mrs. Clifton took their photos with the digital camera and they glued their pictures into the center of each wreath.
  
  
 Lee Ringer, meteorologist for KTRE in Lufkin, visited 4th graders to discuss weather forecasting and other interesting weather facts.
 
  
 He had a very attentive audience with lots of questions.
 
  
 Mindy Scott's class lined up to have their photo taken with Mr. Ringer.
