Head Start Visits Santa

The Wells Head Start class took a trip to the Lufkin Mall on Wednesday to visit Santa. St.Nick had his hands full, but everyone had a chance to tell him what they wanted for Christmas.  Pictured with her class is Head Start teacher Patty Guevara.  Scroll down to see what's tops on their Christmas list this year.

The boys and girls asked Santa for a variety of gifts.  Baby dolls and Barbies seemed to be the most popular request for the girls, while toy vehicles were the favorites of the boys.
Jada says that she wants a baby doll and dollhouse for Christmas.  Kori's wish list included a Barbie, Barbie dollhouse and 2 horses. Diamond asked for a baby doll with diapers.  Nycole and Alexus also want a Barbie doll for Christmas, while Savannah put a Barbie and a swing on her list of must-haves.  Brooke asked for a Glitter Barbie and a watch.  Tamyha wants a Barbie with a house and a baby with diapers for Christmas.  Jodi says she wants a jeep with a phone in it--we can only assume she needs it to haul around the other girls' Barbies.  The boys, on the other hand, focused on transportation.  Zachery asked for a toy man with a toy horse.  Kade was very specific:  he wants a blue dually truck with a white trailer.  River opted for a motorcycle.   Mason D. decided to not follow the crowd--he asked Santa for an ice maker for Christmas.   Mason W. wants a cap gun and Istabeun wants a play gun for Christmas, probably to defend themselves against the pending attack of the Barbies.

Here's hoping that every boy and girl gets their wish for Christmas
and we all have a joyous and safe holiday.
